About Us

Wessel & Lieberman Booksellers was established in 1992. We maintain an open shop in the historic Pioneer Square district of Seattle, within walking distance from the main downtown core, and accessible from several bus lines. Click here to see a map of our location.

We are a full service bookshop specializing in new, used, rare, and out of print books and related material. Our gallery features exhibits of books arts & fine art.

A major portion of our inventory is catalogued and accessible online. We also issue topical online lists and printed catalogues which are available on request.

We happily work with individuals and institutions in developing their collections.

Shop hours are Monday thru Saturday, 11 am to 6 pm. We are also available outside of normal business hours, by appointment. Members, Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America (ABAA); Independent Online Booksellers Association (IOBA).

We are always interested in acquiring new material, and welcome the opportunity to discuss individual volumes and collections of any size.

Appraisal Services

Wessel & Lieberman offers a full range of appraisal services for books, manuscripts, and archives. Over the last ten years we have performed many appraisals for donations, insurance coverage and fair market value of a variety of material. We welcome your inquiries in this regard.
